Nestlé Nestomalt powers the All-Island School Games 2023 – Marathon

Nestlé Nestomalt partnered with the Ministry of Education to organize the All-Island School Games 2023 – Marathon. The event concluded successfully on the 11th of November in Galle, marking the completion of an integral part of this year’s All-Island Schools Games.

The much-awaited fixture powered by Sri Lanka’s most loved malted beverage, Nestlé Nestomalt witnessed the participation of top school athletes from across the island. Over 300 runners from all 9 provinces took part in a half marathon (21 km) and a display marathon (5 km) was held with 1400 participants. Staying true to its’ promise of ‘powering progress’ by inspiring Sri Lankans to lead a healthy active lifestyle, the ‘Good food, Good life’ company’s flagship brand has been a part of Sri Lanka’s biggest marathons for over 35 years.

Through endeavours of this nature, Nestlé Nestomalt intends to continue its journey of powering the progress of aspiring young athletes and providing a positive start to their sporting career. Amidst the cheer of enthusiastic spectators, over 1700 young athletes energetically competed in two designated routes set across historic Galle town.
