Method

  1. Heat the Milkmaid. Add coconut milk and stir until the mixture comes to the boil. Remove from fire.
  2. Add flour, salt, egg and mix well to form stiff dough. Roll out to ¼ inch thickness and cut into various shapes.
  3. Deep fry on a very low heat until golden brown.
  4. To make sugar syrup, heat sugar and water till it forms a single thread consistency. Transfer fried murukku into the syrup and stir till pieces are well coated with sugar.
