Nestlé was named Sri Lanka’s tenth most valuable brand in LMD’s recently published Brands Annual publication, which ranks the country’s Top 100 Most Valuable Brands for 2013.

Nestlé is the only food company and only multinational organisation to be ranked within the top 10.

ba coverThe LMD Brands Annual publication ranks the country’s Top 100 Most Valuable Brands every year based on a survey conducted by a leading brand valuation firm, Brand Finance. In its tenth year of publishing, LMD’s Brands Annual valuation has seen Nestlé Lanka surge ahead in its ranking year after year. The company’s solo representation of its category in the top ten rankings this year is a testament to its solid financial and market performance and high corporate standing in the country. Other brands featured in the top 10 are Bank of Ceylon, Peoples Bank, Dialog Axiata, Cargills Food City, Commercial Bank, Hatton National Bank, Sri Lanka Telecom, National Savings Bank and Lion Brewery Ceylon.
