Ingredients:

  • White rice 400g ( washed and cleaned)
  • Green gram 100g
  • Jaggery (grated) 1 kg
  • Cashew nuts 10gs
  • Plums 50g
  • Clove powder 1tsp
  • Ghee 100g
  • Maggi coconut Milk powder 150g dissolve in 250ml water

Method

  1. Roast the green gram in a pan lightly
  2. Cook the rice , green gram and clove powder in 2 liters of water
  3. Heat the grated jiggery in a separate pan till it becomes a thick syrup, and add to the rice mixture
  4. Then add the coconut milk to the rice mixture and let it cook
  5. Once the rice is done take off the fire
