Ingredients:

- 250 rice flour
- 250 mung bean - wash, dry and roast over low heat
- 250g sugar
- 1 cup treacle
- ¼ cup water
- ½ tsp roasted & crushed sweet cumin ( maaduru)
- Coconut oil for frying

For batter:
- 100g rice flour
- 3 tbsp Maggi Coconut Milk Powder dissolved in 1 cup of water
- Pinch of turmeric powder
- 1 egg beaten
- Salt to taste

Method
- Grind half the amount of mung beans to a fine flour
- Grind the rest of mung beans in to a coarse flour with small pieces
- In a large saucepan combine the treacle, salt, sugar and water. Bring to boil
- Add the mung flour, rice flour and sweet cumin and mix well .Cook until it becomes a thick paste
- Shape the mixture into small balls
- Mix all the batter ingredients with Maggi Coconut Milk Powder
- Heat the oil
- Dip the mung balls in the batter and fry in hot oil until golden brown.
