Ingredients:

  • 250 g of rice flour
  • Dissolve 6 tbsp of MAGGI Coconut Milk Powder in 2 cups of water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/8 tsp of yeast
  • 1 tsp of sugar
  •  Water

Good to remember - Rice flour is rich in Manganese.

     

Method

  1. Mix rice flour, yeast and sugar.
  2. Add water and mix properly. Ferment for 12 minutes.
  3. Add MAGGI Coconut Milk and mix until the texture becomes smooth.  Don’t allow the mixture to become too thick.
  4. Add salt to taste.
  5. Pour about a ¼ cup of the batter onto a hot, well-oiled pan and turn the pan in a circular motion so that the batter sticks to the sides of the pan. (Picture 4)
  6. Cover and cook for about a minute under low-medium heat.
  7. Once the hopper is properly cooked, add 2 tea spoons of thick MAGGI Coconut Milk to the middle. Cook until it becomes crispy.
  8. Use a butter knife to loosen the edges of the hopper and serve hot.
