  • 250 g of  rice
  • 50 g of soaked green gram
  • 3 tbsp of MAGGI Coconut Milk Powder
  • 1 ½ cups of water
  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. Soak the green gram for 12 hours and wash it thoroughly afterwards.
  2. Wash the rice and mix it with the green gram.
  3. Add salt to taste and put the rice and green gram mixture to boil.   
  4. Dissolve MAGGI Coconut Milk Powder in 1 ½ cups of water.
  5. Once the rice is cooked, add in the MAGGI Coconut Milk. Once it is mixed in well, continue to cook the rice on a slow fire.
  6. Once cooked, place the rice mixture on a banana leaf, spread evenly and cut into diamond shaped pieces.
