We have the world's largest private food and nutrition research organisation, with about 5,000 people involved in R&D in 23 locations worldwide, as well as corporate venture funds and research partnerships with business partners and universities.

Our in-house fundamental research takes place at Nestlé Research, which provides scientific knowledge for impactful scientific discoveries that advance the quality of Nestlé’s products.

The scientific discoveries are translated into innovations fueling business growth, in around 30 Product Technology and R&D centres worldwide.
