Our very own Rimaz Rizwie and Anuruddha Rathwatte struck GOLD at the 2019 SLIM NASCO (National Sales Congress) Awards. Rimaz bagged the ‘Territory Manager of the Year Award’, also taking home the ‘Territory Manager – GOLD Award’ in the Modern Trade category, while Anuruddha bagged the ‘Sales Executive – GOLD Award’ in the FMCG – Food category. 750 top sales professionals from 140 companies battled across 23 categories to claim the ultimate title. This marks the third consecutive year in which we have been recognised at this prestigious sales event.
Previous awards include, the ‘Best Sales Executive – GOLD Award’ in the FMCG Beverage Category won by Nuwan Perera at the 2018 SLIM NASCO Awards, and two SILVER Awards and a BRONZE in the FMCG Food Category won by Chathura Buddhika, Muruguppilai Ragulan and Salinga Goonawardena respectively at the 2017 SLIM NASCO Awards.

The contestants were evaluated based on their ability to drive business in volatile market dynamics, strategies implemented to achieve targets, innovativeness in execution, potential to grow in the sales field and ability to conquer the market place.
SLIM-NASCO is a national level event held annually in Sri Lanka to evaluate and recognise sales personnel for their dynamism. Top performers are recognised and conferred with awards and accolades to encourage and motivate the country’s sales fraternity. It is the only national level awards ceremony which recognises sales personnel among a wide range of industries.
