We were awarded Silver by Sri Lanka’s Minister of Environment, Honourable Anura P. Yapa at the National Green Awards 2011, recognising our world-class initiatives to conserve the environment at our state-of-the-art Kurunegala factory. A first time applicant for the awards in 2011, we were the only Food and Beverage manufacturer in Sri Lanka to be honoured at the country’s main environmental awards event.

The National Green Awards is Sri Lanka’s premier environmental award. It is organised by the Central Environmental Authority (CEA) of Sri Lanka to recognise and create a consciousness amongst consumer and producer regarding the importance of being ‘green’, with a view to making ‘greenness’ a sought after brand attribute.
