In line with its commitment to provide products that enhance Sri Lankan consumers’ lives with Nutrition, Health and Wellness, Nestlé has launched Nespray FortiGrow, a Hi-Calcium milk drink designed to support the nutritional needs of school-aged children.

Nespray FortiGrow is developed with the support of scientists at the Nestlé Research Center, which is the largest R&D network of any food company in the world. Made with the goodness of high quality Sri Lankan fresh milk collected from close to 20,000 farmers across the country, Nespray FortiGrow offers a delicious vanilla taste and is enriched with calcium and other essential nutrients like iron, protein, B-vitamins, zinc, and vitamins A, C and D. These nutrients support normal cognitive function, growth, and maintenance of the immune system in children. Whilst calcium-rich foods are an important part of a child’s diet, vitamin D helps support the absorption of calcium.

“Using our global expertise in child nutrition and the most stringent quality control procedures, we’re pleased to introduce Nespray FortiGrow to the Sri Lankan market” says Ruwan Welikala, Assistant Vice President – Dairy for Nestlé. “It is a nutritionally enhanced milk drink, tailor-made to address the nutritional requirements of school-going children. We are proud to offer Sri Lankan mums a milk product rich in nutrients that supports the needs of children, continuing Nespray’s legacy of nourishment and goodness.”

Nespray is a brand that has been trusted from generation to generation and has a strong brand equity amongst mothers in Sri Lanka. We believe that Nespray FortiGrow provides a solution for Sri Lankan mothers seeking to find a product that supports the nutritional needs of their school going children” said Shivani Hegde, Managing Director for Nestlé.

Nespray FortiGrow is manufactured at Nestlé’s state-of-the-art factory in Kurunegala and is available at Rs. 300, at outlets islandwide.
