Nestlé is the world leader in specialised nutrition. We are the only company that operates in four major nutrition segments - performance nutrition, infant nutrition, healthcare nutrition and weight management.
Based on our conviction that innovative, science-based nutrition can help enhance the quality of people’s lives, in 2005, the Nestlé Nutrition Institute (NNI) was established as an independent, non-profit entity. The institute formalised Nestlé Nutrition’s long-standing commitment to support, inform and educate the global scientific and medical community on nutritional subjects.
The Nestlé Nutrition Institute (NNI) fosters “Science for Better Nutrition” by sharing science-based information and education with health professionals, scientists, nutrition communities and stakeholders in an interactive way. The institute provides accredited continuing education programs for a wide range of local healthcare professionals including doctors, nurses and dietitians.
Being the world’s largest private publisher of nutritional papers and journals, NNI organises and hosts internationally acclaimed workshops and symposia, making their findings available worldwide via its website www.nestlenutrition-institute.org. The website has more than 120, 000 registered members from around 200 countries who use it to access information on a broad range of nutrition topics from paediatrics to geriatrics, sports nutrition to weight management and disease states.
