Our Maggi and Nestomalt brands were named Sri Lanka’s Top 10 FMCG brands in the 2017 Brand Footprint Study by research company Kantar World panel. They were the only noodle and malted food drink brands to be ranked in the Top 10.

Nestomalt was also ranked No. 8 in the top 10 leading FMCG brands in the Kantar Worldpanel Brand Footprint study in 2016.

The studies which covered over five million households, 400 brands and 1.4 billion shopper decisions, based its rankings on how many households around the country buy each brand and how often.

The study used its proprietary metric – Consumer Reach Points (CRPs) – to discover how many times a brand was chosen by consumers over the course of one year. The CRP was measured by looking at the ‘household penetration of a brand’ and the ‘frequency of purchase’, displaying the amount of closeness that consumers have with the brand and providing a true representation of shopper choice.
