Milkmaid rewards facebook fans with an afternoon of Milkmaid sweet delights with celebrity Chef Gerard Mendis
A household favourite in Sri Lanka for over a century and synonymous with mouthwatering desserts, Milkmaid has inspired its fans throughout the years to indulge in the favourite things they’ve always loved:treats in chocolate, treats in cream, fruity fantasies and soufflé dreams.
True to its brand promise of ‘Creating Happiness’, Milkmaid rewarded its top facebook fans for their high levels of engagement on the brand’s facebook page with an afternoon with celebrity chef Gerard Mendis, who demonstrated exciting recipes like Chocolate Cheesecake, Passion Fruit Cream and Chocolate Fudge Puddings with Milkmaid. Facebook fans and their guests received counsel on desserts outside of what was demonstrated as well, where Chef Gerard clarified questions and offered tips on other Millkmaid recipes prepared at home.
Interacting personally with the Milkmaid brand team and the Managing Director and other Senior Managers of Nestlé afterwards over high tea and refreshments, all participants were given a goodie bag of Nestlé products as a token of appreciation for their participation. A surprise raffle draw was also held at the end, where three lucky winners walked away with dinner vouchers from star-class hotels in Colombo.
