Method
- Mix the crushed almond powder and water in a non-stick sauce pan and allow to soak for 30 minutes.
- Add Milkmaid and ghee, place over medium heat and stir for 20 minutes until the halwa pulls from the pan and has a stretchy texture.
- Add the saffron powder and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly. Then form the halwa into desired shapes
