The Brands Annual 2014 lists current valuations and ratings of the country’s leading brands. Nestlé is once again in the Top 10, moving up two places from last year to secure No. 8. Nestlé is the only food brand to be listed in Sri Lanka’s top 10 Most Valuable Brands.
Ratings were based on financials (market share, revenue growth etc), future outlook and brand equity (the strength of the relationship the brand has with stakeholders); the presence of a brand relative to its competitors, the strategic leadership behind the brand, sustainability and return to investors.
